Played a key role in the development of NASDAQ’s Opening and Closing Cross processes, which provide a reliable consensus of the value of NASDAQ stocks at the opening and closing of the market.  As a result of the Closing Cross project, Dow Jones ceased its pilot project with the America n Stock Exchange to receive closing prices in NASDAQ stocks for the calculation of its indices.

Since 2001, lead the team of programmers that maintained a system responsible for over $30 million in yearly revenue.  This system handles all post-trade processing, including matching, settlement and clearing, and risk management.

Primary developer for key programs in the system mentioned above, including risk management functions

Consistently the programmer in my group with the fewest bug reports, and among the top in the Systems Engineering department.

Winner of five President’s Awards for outstanding service to the company.
